Have stopped listening to Beeb2. Boom Radio and Boom Light for me.

I always switch to local radio at 11 am on Sundays because i cannot stand the fawning Michael Ball, nor Elaine Paige. However, last couple of weeks, Katie Piper has stood in for him and she's been quite decent.

I like some chat! But there is chat and there is crap chat. Give me more like Messrs Bruce and Walker. Non stop music drives me crazy.

It's the way Paige constantly reads from a script and tries to give the impression that she's knowledgeable about musicals for example. And that ghastly laugh.

I'm not a lover of musicals but there are some good tunescthstvstandvout.. However Elaine manages o play all the awful ones that all soundthe same with singers that all sound the same, especially shrieky females.

Much as I love musicals, MissT I can't listen to EP. Speaking's bad enough but when she laughs! Does she ever listen to herself and think...must calm that down a tad?
