Me too but I won't be watching it until I have recorded the whole series
Won't give anything away for those who haven't watched it yet but I just wanted to say how pleased I am that it's back.
It doesn't disappoint.
Barry, I wish I had your willpower.
Watched it last night and thought it was good again. Just wish that some of the talking was clearer as some of it seemed mumbled. Maybe it's just us but we did find this in the first series too.
saving it to binge !!

Lots going on in that not so Happy Valley!
Episode 1 certainly did not disappoint. The only disappointment, as far as i am concerned, is that the rest of the series is not immediately available on iplayer. I've sort of got used to binge-watching stuff, these days.
If only she didn't mumble so much it was really difficult to understand what she was saying most of the time.
I too found some of it difficult to hear/understand and will have to watch it with subtitles.

I'm no prude but I thought there was some unnecessary bad language, I don't like to hear the F word being used by women. Perhaps I'm old-fashioned.
Thought it was really good and held my attention throughout - more than can be said for a lot of things on TV these days which I'm increasingly ruthless about.

Agree about the inaudible dialogue, though, and don't remember the Sarah Lancashire character using the F word before. Sally Wainwright is such a good writer she doesn't have resort to this.

Think it's the first drama I've seen with a shared credit for director.
Of course she's going to swear, she's a hardened police sergeant who has done the job for a long time.
I love that she told her grandson off for swearing and told him she could arrest him for it.
Sarah Lancashire does mumble, she hardly opens her mouth when she speaks.
I always put the subtitles on.
I enjoyed last night's episode. Did not disappoint.
I binge watched Series 1 & 2 a couple of weeks ago. Didn't notice her using the F word casually in Series 1 & 2 and she was a hardened police sergeant then.
I was hooked. Thought it was great. Sarah Lancashire and James Norton are fantastic actors, I think I will wait now and then binge watch. I prefer binge watching good dramas. Best bit of television that I have seen for a long while!
I don't mind swearing if it is true to life of the character. In fact I don't notice it. I didn't notice it last night.
Haven't watched any of the series, but it's definitely on my "to watch" list.
Probably because she was mumbling, MissT. :0)
I didn't notice mumbling either!;0))

I did notice that James Norton looks quite good with a man bun!

I’m the same as Barsel, I have to watch it with subtitles. :0/
