In the 1960s, there was a black and white series on the television called, "The Master". Does anybody know anything about it? I remember that he lived in a mountainous island surrounded by the sea and that he would hypnotise people so that he could put them to death. Who were the main actors in it? Is it one of those programmes that were either lost or destroyed so we can never see it again?

I see that one of the Sky channels is showing the old Long John Silver series starring Robert Newton which dates back to the 60s. There used to be a Robinson Crusoe series as well, but that has never been shown since.

Don't remember "The Master", but you can get the music to "Crusoe" here: http://www.thechestnut.com/robinson.htm

The Adventures of Robinson Crusoe was issued on video tape a few years ago by Network Video. So far as I know, they are trying to secure the rights to bring it out on DVD.

Thanks. That's a good help. I would love to watch "The Master" again some time. I didn't know that it was based on a novel.
