in friends, the tv show, what star's cameo apperence only line was "I like your hat"

I think it was in the episode(s) set in London when Ross attempts to wed Emily.

If memory serves me correctly, Chandler and Joey buy souvenir Union Jack hats from a stallholder (a cameo by Richard Branson) and the line you mention is uttered by Sarah Ferguson (Fergie, Duchess of York) although I think the term "star" is stretching somewhat.

Fergie says more than that I think because doesn't she say hello and wave to chandler on the camcorder. It might be Richard Branson that says it. I could be wrong though.

fergie says "hi chandler, i like your friend's hat"

in an early episode(series1) phoebe and monica are walking down the street when a guy passes them and says "i like your hat" he then ends up in hospital after monica "woo hoo"'s at him!! i didnt recognise him as being anyone famous so i'm guessing its the fergie thing but that wasnt the line...sorry!

Hmmm, the plot thickens...

As well as having more than one line, Fergie actually says "Joey says you don�t really like his hat, but I think it�s kinda dashing."

Coma Guy (played by David Sederholm - a star???) says "Nice hat" pre-coma but then also has more lines after awakening in hospital.

Further research is required to pin down this answer.
