does anyone know the name of the progam that is on itv quite late 11 or 12 about a youngish female cop who i think lives with her dad who is like a private detective or something and used to be a cop?

I know the one you mean, I've seen a bit of it while I was reading a book. The only thing is, I can't remember the name. I'm sure it's a one-word title. The episode I "saw" had some quite funny bits in, where some gangsters were trying to wack two gormless dudes who'd crossed them yet they accidentally kept killing the crack assassins!

Don't remember it ever being on in my part of the world, it might have been on Sky maybe but we have had that for 5 years.

That's it, Cisco. I was right about the description of that episode wasn't I? I remember the two hopeless dudes went to a pawnbrokers or something and whilst they were there an assassin came to bump them off, but they killed him accidentally so the Mr Bigs of the gangster family thought they were deadly foes!
