Kick, I have notice that in most of your posts these days you put "lmao" in thee somewhere.

My question to you is:

How much of your ass have you got left ???

But I don't put it in "thee" now do I?? ;oP
actually my ass (you will recall the description I'm sure) is detachable, so although I laugh it off, a quick wiggle of these lovely hips and it's re-attached. handy function when you want to pass ti to someone to kiss ;oP

F it, my LIFE is complete (he who lives by the pedantic correction, dies by......)
anyway, I laugh a lot, I'm just happy to the core me:o)

I wish I could grant your wish Gevs, I sincerely do. is that why you became grumpy gevs? thought it was that or bad injury/long lay off. Oooh, you'll be hating this, this isn't really the place, but hey! you started it (lmfao!) and you don't have to reply, do you?

Your question really made me laugh (my ass off?) babes. Sorry if my answer wasn't up to scratch, but I had to type quickly and keep it short or else I was getting timed out, hence I ended up with 2 short (not that funny) posts. I'll try better next time, honest ;o)
OK, you know I'll check back, just to see if you've appeared, and if you're OK. Hope so...thanks again for (genuinely) making me laugh out loud at your post. tc xx
ok, so now I just think you're deliberately avoiding me ;o)
Question Author
Sorry Kick, been away and now really busy!

To answer your questions, I got injured about 2 years ago, tore the cruciate and medial ligaments in my knee. Was released from my contract about this time last year and have now got a "real" job. I still play non league and still get paid a good match fee but obviously it's not quite the same. I do quite a bit of coaching too.

I'm just glad that my parents made me finish school and do A levels before signing professional or I would have been screwed in the long term. (I thought they were crazy at the time!)

Just get quite bored these days!!

How's you?
hi you! I'm laughing because I really didn't expect you to answer my questions, I was only teasing. Didn't think you'd reply as you've as much right to anonymity as anyone else, and apart from any strays who may wander in and read this, you know I'm still keen to know who you are lol. Or actually, maybe I don't want to know, I mean you might have played for Spurs in which case, you'd never seem quite as amusing or friendly again ;oP
anyway, enough miss marple.....you don't need to feel like you're being stalked, sorry :o)
good to hear you can still play at some level, but I can imagine it is just soooo not the same. Your answer to my One Wish question was really poignant, made me feel quite sad. It must be a difficult thing to face, your whole way of life just stopping probably at no older than 40 for most outfield players. I mean who retires at 40? I just can't begin to imagine how it must feel......
but you're right, well done your folks for making you complete A levels. You signed up for the Fantasy Footie? Could keep those boredom leves down a teeny tiny bit?? and think of the satisfaction of beating Norm, Bob et al..... Laurie's bottled out ;o)
I'm fine thanks, enjoying the sunny weather. Wee guy and I have spent the day in the garden (or paddling pool to be mroe precise) and then popping into the house for ice poles and cold drinks. Can't begin to convey just how very tough it is being a full time mum to a nearly-three year old ;oP I am beginning to miss not using my brain though. Was a senior research scientist for 10 years before having the baby, and much as I love being a full time mum, and know how lucky I am to be able to do that, I do need to get my brain in gear. Would love to train to be a midwife, but not sure I can commit to exams etc again. Will maybe do some OU courses when he goes to nursery in October.
Cheers for replying. I don't think I've typed a single LMAO this whole post. wow, some sort
...of record ;o)
