Hi ! I watched the first series of Shameless and really enjoyed it. I never watched anymore of it after series one - i think we have had 3 series of it so far but i could be wrong..as far as i know it stayed to the same standard of series one and was still popular. I also watched Extras and enjoyed it - my favourite episodes are the ones with Les Dennis and Ross Kemp although im not sure you will know who they are. Ross Kemp is Grant Mitchell in Eastenders ? Not sure how to describe Les Dennis - a comedian/quiz show presenter who had a bit of a breakdown over his wife who left him. Anyway this has helped..im sure you will get lots of replys as they are both popular shows over here.

Thanks Kimbro only been in NZ 2 and 1/2 years so know who they are!
Kim...think LR is from Yorkshire, so he probably does know Les Dennis, unluckily for him lol
Rhino...keep watching Shameless, it is absolute class thru each series. Can make me cry and laugh out loud in the same episode. Series 3 finished here in feb, and we're in mourning cos the next series isn't due till next January!! FFS! "Get your facts straight Bo Selecta!" is the best line fo Series 2, rofpmsl.
I really enjoyed Extras. The Les Dennis one is outstanding, but the Kate Wisnlet one is very funny too. Enjoy!
p.s. how's wee Freddie getting on? x
Dunno what series of shameless you are watching, but rest assured, the quality sticks throughout. I found the last series over here (UK), which I think was the third, to be pant wettingly heart attack laughing funny.

Sorry didnt know you was british !!!!! Perhaps i should of took more notice of your name on here !!! Anyway as i said look out for the Les Dennis episode - really funny !!!
I have to say Shameless is Top Notch telly, but i cant say much for extras because i havnt managed to see ANY of it!!!!!:-( BUt yeah, the best has been said, I never saw the first series of Shameless but im glad to hear you like it....I saw the last two series which were brilliant! anyway, enjoy it! :-)
Hi Dan, I'm sure umpteen folk have told you this, but you should try to download or borrow the DVD of first series of Shameless. It sets the standard really and is absolutely fantastic. thnx for saying you'd want to mingle btw...made me smile as we haven't crossed paths much :o)
the first series of shameless is amazing. It's gritty, funny etc. However, i found that although i was still completely 'in to' it i noticed the second series went a bit sort of hollywood action movie on me and then thankfully in the third series it tried to go back to its roots. did anybody else find this?
Ant - I do know what you're saying. The whole Steve story line and one or two other bits...yeah, got a bit OTT, but the quality carried it through. Third series was such a return to form...made me laugh out loud and then cry in the space of minutes...real quality stuff. Just can't wait for January....... lol
