Did anyone else enjoy that excellent 1994 cricket based comedy series called The Outside Edge, starring Josie Lawrence, Timothy Spall, Brenda Blethyn and Robert Daws? Why do they not make them like this nowdays?

Couldn't stand it, but then, I HATE cricket. Anyway just in case you didn't know, they tend to be shown now and then on one of the extra ITV channels - can't recall which.
I hate cricket and don't profess to understand it but I loved this series. It was so funny and true to life in many ways. I have recently seen a few episodes on some Sky channel but its not being shown at the moment. The casting was simply brilliant!
One of the few decent comedies ever to have come out of ITV. Wonderful cast and truly amusing, well-written storylines.
i can't believe it was 12 years ago !!! i loved it by the way
Brilliant !!!

With a young, pretty Lesley Ashe, in her little white gloves, getting locked in the loo!
