nudity on TV
9 Answers
Is there a watershed for nudity on the TV? Before I go any further I do not have a problem with it, just wondering. I always thought it was 9pm, but on xmas day I watched Titanic and the topless Kate Winslett scene was shown at around 2pm on RTE.
As said earlier I do not have a problem with it, but always thought there was some guidance after there was an outcry that a woman's nipple was shown on an advert before 9pm. Or does this not apply to the Irish channels?

The French just don't seem to worry about this sort of thing and as a result it's a lot more healthy and less prurient (and also less hypocritical).
Anyone would think the human body was something to be ashamed of... (well, sometimes, if we don't look after it the way we should, and in my case gravity is beginning to take its toll)
Actually, thinking about it, all this fuss about nudity is a result of our standing and walking on our hind legs all those millions of years ago (any ABer who is an anthropoligist will explain this)
