Various aspects of modern film and TV pass me by completely. The 'talent' of Michael Barrymore, the 'humour' of Bo Selecta!, the 'acting' of Hugh Grant, the 'wonderfulness' of 'Lost In Translation', and i could go on all day. So what apparently popular figure or film leaves you completely at a loss to understand their popularity?
totally agree bout Bo selecta.100% not funny.also never got lost in translation.can't believe wasted bit of my life watching it.nothing happens!'allo 'allo, eurotrash, love island, any horror movies and films like devilboy, sin city,a league of extraordinary gentlemen.why is star trek still going? mariah carey and u2 need to give it a rest. phew this v therapeutic.
Agree with most of the answers on here already, The league of Gentlemen, The Office or anything else to do with Ricky Gervais, Bo Selecta, didn't get lost in translation at all so it lived up to it's name! I did however, love Donnie Darko and am the proud owner of the DVD. Oh and Katie Melua is totally on my slap list! Urgh and Abi Titmus - you don't get many creepy women but she is one of 'em!!
