what about all those skinny models that do exercise videos but have had tummy tucks etc, doesnt stop people buying the video. She still exercised and started eating healthy she just got a little help. Like the models that get a little help in magazines with air brushing

I agree 4get. I should think the viewing figures may well have dropped because of Fern's absence (and the sunny weather). And you are dead right about the skinny models, etc!

All she did was have a very private operation which got her started off on a good eating and fitness regime. Not exactly a criminal offence or worth getting het up about.

I think if she had lost the weight through Diet and exercise alone she would have been on a role, but she didn't and thats the point.
She didn't lie, she just didn't say about it. She didn't say she hadn't had the gastric band fitted.
It is also something that many women trying to lose weight can't afford to have done. So the fact is she hasn't helped anyone. She has just given into the media pressure and the likes of people calling her a fat cow and did what ever it took.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't give two hoots about what Fern did or didn't do. I was just playing devil's advocate and giving a big-up to all the disappointed fat people in the house.

Dont most adverts with all these miracles creams, miracle pills do that? and they still get shown. People will do anything to lose weight whether fern had a gastric band fitted or not. I dont see how she lied, she just didnt mention it.
