Different state of mind?

this question is for anyone who understood and much enjoyed the movie Vanilla Sky. after seeing the film, did it make you over think and emotional about what is reality now, time, love, and life?

It's full of interesting concepts but not as good as the original Spanish version called 'Open Your Eyes.' Penelope Cruz plays the same part and it's by the same director as 'The Others'

I agree doc. Liked it somewhat (great music) but more than any other reaction it made me want to check out the original.
