Why oh why do programmes like this do the usual stuff like send a secret camera to see who is selling fireworks to underage people, its done on every channel every local programme its still happening until these potential lethal weapons are used only on bonfire night or by special license nothing will change!!!

I think they should be sold to licensed operators for displays only - and banned for everyone else.

I know that makes me sound a killjoy, but Iabsolutely hate the damned things, even more now that we have them from late October until the end of January.

Unusually this year I didn't hear a single firework until Saturday night (1st). Maybe to do with the financial crisis?

I agree they should be sold by licenced operators for display purposes only and only sold by licenced retailers.
People wanting them for any occasion whatsoever would have to employ a licenced operator.
