I have one set top box in my kitchen and have bought another for the bedroom, however although the first works beautifully the second doesn't work at all. Do I need some sort of booster and if so what and where can i get it from. Thank you for reading this hope you have an answer xx Janet

Are you using a portable aeriel?
It will be either the aerial or the scart lead, i bought a pink one from teascos for £19.99 and it;s brilliant, it matched my bedroom curtains.

No I had a new aerial fitted when I bought my new digital TV a couple of years ago. Thank for taking the time to answer but if it isn't the aerial what else could it be. Janet
You probably need a double signal amplifier to split the arial signal to 2 boxes.

Thank you Whiskery, and for the useful web address. Is anyone else as incensed as me about this switch over. The thought of the mountains of useless TV sets and Video Recorders and the expense of replacing these is unbelievable and at any time - let alone a time of recession - is so ridiculous that I cannot believe that they are getting away with it. Apart from buying the aerial, set top box (this is all you need hahaha) it now seems I need a booster and I have far more intereference than I ever had with analogue TV. Thanks for the info again Whiskery Janet
