Just wanted to shout at Ruth tonight, she really is getting so irritating. Does she expect them to discuss every detail of everything with her!

I just cannot abide Ruth, I was hoping she'd be killed off driving back home ! Infact I keep saying "oh shut up !" when she's speaking.

Now that Pet Love is finally dead, I would have thought that she would have shut up and got on with working with her ruddy cows, but it seems not.

News Flash !

Just heard that Timothy Watson, who plays Rob Titchener is to feature on Sundays "Broadcasting House" tomorrow !

I trust Timothy is a nicer person than his Archers' character, the bully-boy Titchener!

Apparently when he appeared at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, he was booed !

I wonder if Justin will fire Charlie and give his job to Rob? The nightmare scenario although he's not too keen on doing any paid work, will he expect a salary from the shop?

I noticed that last night, Rob's halo begun to slip a little. Tony started to fight back and Rob didn't like it !

And Helen's simpering is starting to annoy me big time !

Helen's been in love, chaps, so she's glossed over things and persuaded herself that she's misunderstood, been in the wrong etc.. No-one deserves the purposeful de-structuring of a human being that Rob is on with. I missed today's episode, hope nothing terribly important happened.

By the way, I borrowed 'For the love of....The Archers - an unofficial companion' from the travelling library (under threat, I am campaigning). The Foreword is by Charles Collingwood. It's a super read, I'm half-way through and finding out all sorts of stuff. Highly recommended - written by Beth Miller.

I think Ruth is on the verge of having a breakdown. She is taking everything to heart and no-one can say anything right. It's a culmination of everything that's happened this year.
I find her very irritating, though and don't like this storyline.

Those ABers who find her irritating might now be pleased, I suppose. But why go there? of all places? What's wrong with Skegness?

I don't see why she has chosen to go there. There isn't any historical connection with that place as far as I know. It just seems so ludicrous. As bookbinder says, why not Skeggie?

Zeno - I was wondering where she would get the money from, seeing that they are always saying they don't have much. Hadn't thought of that. I wonder if Felicity Finch who plays Ruth has another job lined up.

But why New Zealand ? I have been listening to the Archers for many years and I can't recall a New Zealand connection ( apart from Kenton )
