Lovely pics Lottie, I've done a lot of drooping today, I couldn't have trooped to save my life. Yes, bulldozed and very depressed, that sums me up too. I hate to say it but I'm glad it rained today, the gardener should have done the hedges but I didn't feel like running in and out with tea.
Oight oight all.
Dogs had a monsters in the garden night. They are now having a monsters in the garden morning. I don't mind I have a monster cup of coffee.
yet another sunny morning here to be followed by a horrible day. I don't like the way the weather conspires to lure me out of bed then rains on me.
Good morning moaning biddies!!!

Hope Robi and Lottie are feeling better.

I have an expensive banging headache, but the meal was delicious last night, but very expensive. It was Galego food and wine, and we had such a laugh. Typical tourists they forgot to change their clocks so we were waiting an hour for them to turn up. Meeting them today for a paella lunch, then I really must get my head down!!
Good morning All. Hope all is well. Get well soon Lottie and Robi, thinking about you.
Neti it serves you right but I'm happy you enjoyed youself.
A housework day today for me. Laters 'gaters
jno jnr has arrived (bearing chocolates) to help reroof the garden shed. Hopefully this will be done before the heavens open.
lolling today, might garden later. Was going to tesco, but have just done a waitrose order instead
Hi All. Just had a message from Lottie and she's asked me to tell you that she has passed her virus on to her computer and is out of contact for a while til it is sorted. she also said she is feeling a bit better today and will be back as soon as. x

Yoohoo folks
Sun in and out here but quite warm .Hope any poorlies are feeling better .
Mr S is happy with his bottle of whisky and the book of the Michael Portillo Great British Railways .
I'll be happy to help him drink the whisky :)
A'noon all...still feel like a limp rag but I've put an emergency dinner in the oven hoping I can recycle it at the correct speed. :o/
Hope Lottie sorts her puta, I spent an hour trying to suss out why my phone wasn't working first thing. I was about to get someone to call BT for me when I noticed in my stupor last night I switched the base off at the plug...d'oh

shaney, not sure if I told you but my sister and bro in law loved the Bradshaws, I've told him he'll get a pink gingham shirt for xmas. :)

Gardener's been to do the hedges and a couple of shrubs, it looks better now. No one can complain about the noise because someone not too far away has been doing noisy diy for weeks.
Found out a (very arthritic) friend was recently mugged by a man, not a 'yoof', what a bar steward. She looks terrible, something like that would just about finish me off.
Jno is being shocking!!! (over in R and S)
I have been having a good old garden. Finished my last planned repotting and had a rummage in the fishpond. Just having a cold one (non alc ) before going for a shower.
Robi that's terrible i hope they catch the person and geld him. My Mum was mugged years and years ago. They got her christmas savings and she was actually ill over it. I hope your friend feels better soon and that you don't recycle your dinner innappropriately.
My ex husband who passed away 7 years ago with bowel cancer was mugged a few years before while walking (with a stick) near where he lived. It was broad daylight. They stole his wallet and the attack made the local paper. So sad. There are some sad B******s about who have to do things like that. I feel so sorry for your firned Robi and I understand your feelings.
It's a terrible thing, even if they don't cause any physical harm they don't just take the person's belongings, they often rob them of their confidence.

I think someone's robbed a hedge sparrow of his tail, there's one who comes every afternoon and evening. He flies ok, he just looks so sweet and dumpy.
What's jno been up to, she'll have her feathers plucked out if she's not careful.
just scorched by atheistic hellfire, I expect. The shed is repaired and jno jnr has returned to far-flung Kent. Still a few chocolates here if anyone wants to share.
Oh she's just been yanking the chief female atheist's chain. I have been being stalked by a robin today while I was gardening. The dogs have learned that there is no point chasing it and Shughy has also leaned that his appearance sometimes signals my getting out suet pellets (yum yum.) and that he can sometimes nose some off the gatepost if I am not looking.
I have suddenly acquired a busy week because my godson phoned tonight to say that he is home from uni next week (for good) and could come with his mate and empty my attic. The room the attic is going in to is the one just vacated by the tortoise and the other half is full of a stuff dump. Hi Ho.....
Actually its been a bit sticky depressing lately...will be good to move on again.
hello jno, would love to help you out with the chocolate but I have been pigging out on hotel chocolat summer collection.

Football evening here ......sigh ..we now have a german flag draped from the mantelpiece .
Give me a chocolate Jno before I combust :)
Could you dunk it in some Gldn Syrp first please .
Evening all. had a terrific day but can't keep this up. Met friends for paella and wine , then went for coffee (which involved a lot more beer) then felt peckish again so went to tapas bar, more wine, hierbas and finally a coffee, couldn't take anymore, so came home in time for Mr N to fall asleep in front of the tv for the football. Very hot and sticky!

Will say oight oight xx
