Good afternoon Biddies, I have a banging hangover (sorry yes I should know better!) but had a lovely meal last night and then we sat on the promenade drinking more wine and yes loads more hierbas. Have at last managed to sit on my tete a tete seat and chat to myself with a cuppa.But it looks as if it has to be covered up again as tomorrow looks grim .
Planted some herbs out in pots .Two sorts of parsley and some basil .
Lol Robinia ...I went for some cough medicine for my neighbour a while ago and got the third degree.
Todays mystery.....Why is it when you are trudging along with two bags of heavy shopping ,one on each side ,your nose starts to itch .

I wouldn't mind about being questioned in the chemist if they lowered their voice and didn't shout across the shop. I needed therapy after the 'heaps' cream incident.

I hate being treated like a child in the chemist. I use collis browns liquid when my gut plays up. It has a small amount of morphine in it and i get told by the pharmacies that they dont make it any more, that its not very good anyway (it is) that its DANGEROUS (so am I when pizzed off) and that loperamide will work as well (only if I want to get totally stopped up) Anyway i now buy it online. I get an email when i order it or a questionnaire on the website that says why do you want it and have you used it before and then they send me the stuff Its worth paying the p and p to save me from a jail sentence for murdering a pharmacy assistant.

Lol Jno ..there are one or two places that could be spruced up round here but nothing as bad as that ...on the whole it's not too bad .We now have a new local commitee who shout at that mob over the bridge and insist we get some of the money spent on us instead of kiss me quick hats and candy floss :)

Ooh I remember Gorleston Shaney. I was there in 1961 with my parents and Fuschia and her husband and young family. It was just after the birth of Steadier. I have never been again.
The shoes |I bought yesterday have now been returned to M & S. I couldn't justify buying shoes that were more expensive than the dress and that I would probably only wear when I wore the dress. It's having toi watch the pennies over the years tghat I can't ever get used to not watching them.
Have had a message from Lottie who sends her love but her 'puter still isn't working but she hopes to be back soon.
I'm pleased to say my washing dried outside even though it did go a bit black over Bill's Mother's earlier on.
I have not idea what's on Telly except I know it's not footie!!

I've been there, Robinia. It's a goldmine ghost town in the back of beyond in California. When the miners were rushing there, one little girl wrote a letter saying "Goodbye, God, we're going to Bodie." When this got out, the town council tried to put it about that she'd actually written "Good! By God, we're going to Bodie!"

It was founded by a Mr Body but the locals got snooty and changed the spelling. It's rather nice in a desolate kind of way.
