Tim Willcox outside Westminster, talking about Thatcher, referred to her 'reign'.

One has to giggle, doesn't one?

Ever since Queen Victoria said "We are not amused" it has been the royal WE so Maggie must have had delusions of grandeur and thought she was royal when she said "We are a grandmother". I remember squirming with embarrassment for her when I heard her say this.
She did it again when she was ousted "We are leaving No.10 for the last time..."

She might have meant Denis and her, but I suspect it was the 'Royal' we.
Me too Star....so embarrassing...that's when I knew she really was bonkers.
