don't think its been shown on terrestrial tv, maybe it will in the future, the film was made in 2019 i think..
Not on terrestrial tv, as such, but it is available on Now TV which is, i believe, available on a 7 day free trial. So if you really, really, really want to see Downton The Movie, it may be worth taking up the free offer :-)

Hi emmie, I didn't think I had seen it advertised on the usual channels , but I don't know about all the other channels that some can get. Wish I had gone to see it when it was on at the cinema now.

Thanks Ken. Is it easy to cancel Now TV as I don't want to pay for it?
Haven't a clue, Barsel, sorry.

Step-by-step guide: How to cancel Now TV

Log-in to your NowTV account from nowtv.com.
Click the My Account button in the top right-hand corner, which should bring up a dropdown menu.
Click on Passes & Vouchers in the dropdown list. ...
Here you should see a list of your passes.
Find the pass you want to cancel and press the Cancel Pass button.
Select a reason why you want to cancel.

Thanks emmie. have just found this info, but I don't understand if you have to pay £11.99 for a pass so you can have a 7 day free trial.

Downton Abbey is now available to watch on Sky Cinema, but if you're not a Sky subscriber, fear not. You can sign up to NOW TV and enjoy a seven-day free trial with its Sky Cinema Pass.

The pass costs £11.99 per month and it will auto-renew after the free trial ends, so make sure to cancel it if you don't wish to continue your subscription.
