Did you see it? Could any of you feel any genuine compassion for them as they whined about sore feet and aching legs? I tried to but one glimps of them eating fried burgers chocolate and chips just made me feel almost angry.... what was your take?

I have a great admiration for the ones that finished.

They all know they have a problem, faced it and took the challenge.

I don't know if I could walk 500 miles in 8 weeks, especially with a bunch of strangers, and I certainly cannot walk on sore feet.

I really admire Vincent for struggling up and down that hill - it was clear he was in agony and at the end of his tether. I was sad to see him go, and hope he continues the fight.

The single mum obviously has other issues and I was glad when she finally left. Her heart was clearly not in it.

But all in all, it was an excellent programme, and showed great spirit and courage. Good luck to all of them.
I agree pretty much with all Ethel said. I watched most of all the programmes, and although was abit annoyed when one or two dropped out, thought they did incredibly well.

I know how much my feet hurt after walking about 12 miles for a sponsored walk up and down hills all day, so to do it for 8 weeks, 6 days a week must have been agony.

It's easy to forget I think that some people are almost addicted to food, so getting out of the habit so quickly is hard. I did feel though that near the end when they were having fish and chips in that pub that it was only that Stacey girl had got the message about having to change their whole lifestyles to lose the weight and keep it off. I'd be really interested to see what they're doing now.
What did make me very angry were the rude and ignorant people who taunted them for their size as they went by.

thought it very good
i watched every episode and thought it was funny and sad at the same time.that stacey cracked me up -she was hilarious, wanting to know why there were hills between devon and edinburgh as if it was flat she could have done it in her flip flops!!! that single mum that dropped out boy did i want to slap her!!
like zipadeedodah said ,it was interesting at the end peoples reaction to the fish and chips ,it is exactly like an alcholic knows he can't have just have 1 drink he must give up totally ,stacey realised her adiction ,whereas adam knew he could have a treat once in a while and it wouldn't hurt him, it would be interesting if channel 4 did a follow up programme in a years time to see how they all coped with their new found leases to life
I also found it a very interesting programme, & I totally agree with Ethel`s views. I don`t think I could have done it. They `re all to be admired for taking the challenge. A follow on would be very interesting.
A huge amount of compassion for them yes.
