TV Guide not working

The TV guide has no data on our Panasonic DMR EZ47VEB DVD recorder, si can't pre-record anything. I have re-set the clock which was fine anyway. I think hubbie pressed the wrong button when the window came up to update the TV programmes. It hasn't worked since. Help ! In laymens terms please.

You could always switch it off and press the correct button when the window comes up to update the TV programmes!

On your handset go into FUNCTIONS and reset the recorder from there.

The guy from John Lewis talked me through it on the phone, it was something to do with pressing the wrong button when the Auto Update Window came up. Sorted ! Thanks all.
