I'm a Swede living in Sweden but we do get to see a lot of your British drama series and shows, Parkinson being one of the popular ones over here as well. I was just wondering, how is he and has he been up to anything interesting after the final Parkinson show?

clearing cache: Control Panel (should be in the start menu lower left) > Internet Options > Browsing History > Settings > View Files; then highlight them and delete them. There may well be quicker ways depending on what Windows or what browser you have. It deletes a lot of temporary stuff which might be clogging up your PC, but it includes saved passwords and so on, which is why Jude needed to sign in again.

Can you believe this, talk about greed and inflation. There is only one deodorant that I can wear, it's called SebaMed and costs usually 11.50€, yesterday I went to the chemist and bought one and they charged me 17.70E I didn't realise cos had more other things on c.card, but checked when having a coffee. I was gobsmacked, so went back and asked them to check it, oh said the girl look at the difference and then whispered to her colleague, Oh she said it's what the boss says and the price has gone up (5€!!), and they wouldn't reduce the price, but they gave me the money back, so I went to another chemist and got the same for 12.50€ What a rip-off, they are so greedy here. Also it's been discovered that if one gets a parking fine under a notice that is only in catalan, it is illegal and the town hall will cancel the fine rather than change the signs, lots of people are now looking to park under these signs! Such ignorance!!

Going out to San Antonio tonight for authentic curry as the curry house has reopened at last, which means, home cooking tomorrow which I've very cleverly passed onto Mr N, we are having a home-cooked paella, his speciality!

Same old here. The double figures the Met Office keep shouting about reached the dizzy heights of 10C today .Knock off the wind chill and it's business as usual .Cold dull and dreary .

I hope she hasn't succumbed to anything with all these lurgies going around at the moment .

1º - yes 1º driving back from San An and there was low cloud swirling in mists as we drove through it, I put the willies up Mr N saying it was the dead souls killed on the roads who couldn't pass over, he was annoyed with me. It was a lovely curry, but so cold here, lovely - orf to bed.

Replies to a couple of questions: Yes it does look like a Venetian mask doesn't it, Woofy. Haven't tried to send him any emails for a long time as in the past they have bounced nine times out of ten but I do hope he's okay. He did say on the previous thread he was going to London and Cambridge in early March. Cambridge university surroundings look so darn beautiful when you image google them, what with the rowing boats and everything, lovely.

I'm not feeling too dandy, my ear is still ringing and it's more persistent now than before (jaw tension?) and my lower back took a blow too. The superficial skull hematoma has been a bit bothersome due to its size but I've made a "sitting ring"* from a woollen shawl, except it's a "head ring" so I'm able to rest my head against the rocking chair neck support. *Don't know what it's called in English or even what they look like - a device women use post partum, and I'm imagining they look like small lifebuoys? anyway that's what I'm doing with the shawl and it does help.

Good evening...Happy Mother's day, where applicable...
...and a Very Happy Birthday to jno for tomorrow, hope it's all you wish for. (It's easy to remember her neti, it's the Ides of March...of course, if you don't know when that is, it ain't so easy. :o/ )

This is just a short visit, I'm wiped out - Kit gets the wallop on the head and I get the pain. Had the mother of all sinus headache/migraines since I was on here on Thurs and tonight is the first proper meal I've had since then...not gonna get fat any time soon am I?
I hope your tum's settled down shaney, it's real misery making intit? Hope your injuries are easing Kit, that was quite some fall you had, please stay upright or I'll have to order some more flags.

Best laugh I've had for days was when my grandson (now 3 & half) tottered in today wearing pink plastic high heels....hahahaha...well when you've 2 older sisters I s'pose you accept all hand me downs.

Hi Kit nice to see you back. I tried to find our ESC Song on Youtube but no luck.

I've had a quiet day today. My son came with a lovely card and he has paid for my ticket to the last match of the season at Pride Park. (Derby County Ground).

You know if I wanted to go onto another site to find something to put on here without losing what I've just written on here what do I do. I know I minimise this page then go to find another one but when I want to get back on here I don't know how. Anybody out there who can explain it to me in layman's terms please.

Nothing on the box tonight so I am listenting to Alan Titchmarch on BBC2 playing a bit different music to what I normally listen to. Some Bach at the mo which is quite relaxing. I do like some classical now and again.

Haven't heard from Vin either Kit but his emails have been delivered. - what I mean is they haven't come back. It would be nice to know that even if he doesn't want to come back that he is alright.

Hi jude, don't you just click on the minimised page at the bottom and then it should pop back up. I'm on Firefox and all my open pages are in a line at the top so I can nip in and out easily. except for this damned site cos since I've cleared my cache, I have to sign in every time again grrrr!
