i'm having trouble working my time machine, it looks like an armchair with an umbrella attached to it, but whenever i push the quatum leap thrust excelerator, it only goes forward in time, not backwards, i was just wondering if anyone else with the same TGK2854 model time machine has been having the same problem?

Ah, I have the TGK2854A-Z GTi.  I think if you accelerate to 2025 and go to your local TGK garage and ask for the BS capacitor fitted.  It'll only cost �25,000.

Yes, I had the same problem with this model. What you need to do is poke yourself in the eye with your index finger. Try it now. Let me know how you get on.

yeah i poked myself in the eye, it only took me beck to 1985 though, maybe if i do it harder?

Yeah, harder. Phew, thank god I'm not the AB Editor, I do have a penchant for this kind of bad behaviour, always gives me a chuckle.
You can only go back in time to a time when they had time machines. Not sure why this is. Anyone that knows please let me knew.

The TGK2854 model was subject to a manufacturer's recall for the exact problems you are experiencing. You should have been contacted by your dealer and offered a free fix.

Using the machine in this condition is highly dangerous and has been known to cause a chronosynclasticInfundibulum.

If you missed the recall notice, you should contact either your local dealer of the manufacturer ASAP. In the meantime DISCONNECT THE EQUIPMENT AND DO NOT USE IT.

I have the TGK2880 Recliner two-seat sofa model with windscreen wipers. It has the V8 transfunctioner engine. Some times it only runs on 5 contiuum-transfunctioners and misfires on the other 3. When this happens I cannot leap forward or backward in time, only sideways to the present. My Heynes workshop manual suggests that I tweak the centrifugal-time-deaeriator clockwise a couple of nanometers. But when I try this I find that the universal-defribulating-spandango unit shorts out and blows the whojamaflip fuse.
Plus, my indicators don't work.

I also had a similar problem, there are 2 nessesary upgrades that must be performed. From the box this model comes with a singe action excelerator that must be replaced with the dual action which is identified in recall # DA27640000986J. The second upgrade is the right rear leg, It has been brought to the manufacturers attention that this particular leg is not the same as the other three, causing the internal leveling mechanism to constantly search for the best chair configuration. This problem has been known to send people to an undesired point in time. The new leg is a very simple fix and this part will be identified in recall #L56398000R. These are very important upgrades because since it is so difficult to go back in time, the people who go forward somtimes are never returned to the proper time.

try going forward to infinity setting and pick your time with the clock wound through to the second circuit.I may see you there .There are only  a few of us here on the second circuit( look for hair on the palms).
