Stars on the Street (Coronation Street)

This programme was on yesterday (5 December), but it has been on before. The fact that it was old was given away by the item about Keith Duffy who is now back in the Street, but wasn't when this programme was first shown. Does anyone know when it was first shown and why - what event was the excuse for this compilation and talking heads show? It wasn't the 40th anniversary since 2006 was mentioned as being in the past.

Yes, that must be it. How odd that they did it for the 49th birthday - still, any excuse will do.
