2004 a3 brake light

few years ago i purchased a brake light decal for my a3, roughly a year ago someone hit my car on a car park and drove off leaving me to claim off the insurance. upon collecting my car i noticed the brake light decal i purchased had been pulled off during the work. i wasn't much bothered as it cost about £5 off the internet and since then i can't actually seem to find one and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of where i could get 1 from.

I've just been looking everywhere .. but can't find.
Is it for 3rd lamp .. or for a rear lens surround or something?
I think only choice would be to start with original VAG part number and colour, and take it from there.
You could try one of the Audi forums .. but I would make sure it's not a Yankee one! Cheers! Al.

Hi Al, still not sorted it out fully yet but its in the pipeline so shouldn't be too long now.

yes its the 3rd lamp one (in the rear spoiler), i had my old one off ebay but there are hardly any of them on ebay now.
you can't get them from VAG as its an aftermarket part, only other thing i was thinking is will window film stick to the brake light and not come off in the rain (if i can't get the cover i'd like it tinted as my car is yellow and already have limo tints on the back half)

I don't think normal film will stay on .. unless you lacquer the very edges after dry mate. Bit like those sets for motorbike tanks you can get now .. I helped a mate do some stuff on a big Suzuki a few weeks back, and he was fitting them. Squeegy off and then lacquer edges after a couple of days.
What make was the AM kit then?
Tried searching eBay Europe .. like Germany?

sorted it Al.
couldn't find 1 but some king gent on ebay who advertises saxo and rover ones has told me to make a template and tell him what i want and he'll make it for me.

I was going to suggest you went to a signwriters (for car logos, etc)
