car cutting out

2003 renault scenic 1.6 16v.. engine cutting out , dash lights coming on ,no power steering etc when going around roundabouts at fairly slow speed..20/30mph.also when turning courners on down ward hills..not all the time,but intermittantly..also struggle to re start engine after short journey,and leaving car for 10mins again intermittant...advised fuel filter blockage,,fuel pump broke.??advice before lashing out money..

Are there any warning lights coming on? we had a faulty warning light that was draining the power on our 04 scenic - ours was the new model, is an 03 new or old style, can't remember now.

just had my car dash done i was lucky to only pay a small part towards the new dash .my car never cut out so i dont think it is this .but let u read this anyway . http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=9682 7

sounds like fuel pump to me, some cars have 2 fuel pumps so not sure which yours is

you can test the fuel pump with a low gauge
