My Daughter rang last night she has a Audi "whatever" she had been quoted £90+ for each front tyre, I like a challenge, I searched the Net for the same type of the quoted price, same make, everything the same, who was the best? I hope I can say this without breaking the rules, It's only to advise members, ASDA, do your home work folks as money is tight everywhere.

I hadn't realised Asda, or any supermarket, fitted new tyres.
Question Author
They don't O.G. they give you recommended outlets with ASDA discounts.
Ah. I must try to remember that next time. Not long had 3 new tyres though.

Went through a few sites last night O.G. in fact about 10, the named supermarket came out on top with the full tyre Items, New Valves, balanced, & a local fitting service, as it happens, this is the one I use for my MOTs.
what's the tyre spec TWR, out of interest, how much did you get them fitted for?

Did you perchance check a tyre site called,I think, "Black circle". I heard they were pretty reasonable ?
Retrocop, it's Blackcircles. I've been using them for years (i've got a fitting arranged for Monday for 2 new tyres).
Thanks bhg481
My friend and I have both got large Utes with hefty tyres and he recommended them to me when the time comes to renew. I got a brand new Goodyear Wrangler for 1/2 price on E-Bay which awaits in my garage.
I had to replace a tyre and after doing the rounds I was quite surprised that the cheapest deal was with Kwikfit. Mind you, it was only available by purchasing online and by appointment online. Fitted on time and was amazed that they didn't try to talk me into anything else.

It certainly pays to look around and a pc/laptop/whatever saves a lot of legwork.
Thanks 1ozzy. Thats the site. Looks easy to find what you want on it.
'Twas a pleasure Retro.

The company doesn't exist where I live.

Wish it did!!!
@retrocop

//Utes //

Looks as if Strine is taking hold in the UK now.

@twr

If we don't have Asda in our area, can the voucher be obtained entirely on line?

Quicker to type Ute. You didn't really want to know that I drive a Nissan Navara Techna 2.5 Twin cab D 500 and my pal drives a Jeep Cherokee, gasp ,did you?
;-) to Hypog, etc.
What do you call the vehicles where you live Hypog,etc?

Pick up trucks?, Utes? or is there some pommy name the rest of the world should know and embrace?

Don't get me started on that one.
The strife I have had to get it insured as a private pick up for social,domestic,pleasure purposes only. I am told it is a van and must be commercial insurance. Ok insure it as a van. Can't it has more than 3 seats.
For crissake what do you want me to insure it as. ? I am retired it is literally a shooting brake . It carries my shooting kit over bad terrain on target ranges. Every insurer seemed to think I was Bob the flamin Builder.
I can just about carry my rifles let alone a hod full of bricks. Then I get insurance as a commercial but I am not allowd the entitlement to drive other cars not belonging to me under 3rd party even though I drive fully comp. Makes you want to not bother! Grrrrr
