Mot And Service

I am taking my car for an MOT and service tomorrow. Do I need to take any documentation apart from the service booklet?

Well if you take everthing and its not needed you will know for next time.

I usually just take the old MOT cert and the service book. Yes, they still exist.
Even if they're not required, at least you'll be prepared.
And credit card.

If they're giving you a courtesy car while they're doing the work you'll need your NI number (no idea why) and driving licence.

They charge £10 for courtesy car? Wow, my local place lets them for nothing, but the insurance excess is so huge I'm scared to do go anywhere in it.

When I get my car serviced (in Devon) I go into town and use the opportunity to stuff my face with devon pasties. That's breakfast and lunch. Collect car and go home. Sorted.

My nice dealer lets me have a nearly new courtesy car free all day and never even charges me for petrol.....

You don't need to it is all held online nowadays.
