Filled the car yesterday with diesel at 1.49 p/l at Tesco
Asda and Sainsburys had none and Sainsburys had no unleaded petrol either

Sitting in my armchair , why do i need to know the price of petrol at my local stations at the minute ?.

When i need to buy petrol i don't turn up at the pump and pay particular attention to the price per litre .
All the stations are going to be within a few pence per litre of each other

If i'm going to buy £30 , i will put £30 pounds in , whether it's £ 1.70 per litre or £ 1.80 per litre .
If i need the petrol i'm going to buy the petrol

i agree with Baz, i have no need for petrol at the moment, so have no idea how much it is today at my local.
Also, like Baz, when i need petrol, i wont be driving around looking at who has the cheapest probably. I'll go to my local tesco and buy what i can afford (depending when in the month it is) without paying too much attention to the price per litre

I think it will only be a concern for those who have to budget. For those lucky enough not to, don't worry about the price.

My local Shell was 153 two days ago. Wouldn't surprise me if it has gone up since then.

I don't know how much fuel is either. I have to buy it so knowing the price makes no difference. I just fill the tank up.

I have an electric car so the price of petrol doesn't worry me. I can see how it would worry others though.

I have a choice of fuel stations so I always check the prices on an app when I want to fill up. Not keen on paying more than I have to.
