Its worth trying www.confused.com, there you can get quotes from many different companies but will only have to fill in all your details once, saves time. Also try Norwich Union Direct (cheaper than Norwich Union).

hi salamanda, just one thing its ok getting cheap car insurance, but dont forget to ask how good they are, its pointless saving money, if in the end they drag there heels over a payment or say a hire car if yours is off the road for a few weeks, i know i have been stung by this before, i prefair my bank, most banks do excellent insurance packages, and i know from experiance that the royal bank of scotland are on the ball over accident damage even when its your fault . my car had over �3000 worth of damage to it ,it was picked up, a brand new corsa was left for me, no milage charge which is usally the stinger, 2 weeks later it was delivered back to me, valeted, and like brand new so i would recomend, rbs any day

I did a long envolved survey recently. Depending on your circumstances, if you haven't had any claims recently try esure they give guaranteed protected bonus for life otherwise try 1st alternative.

thanks people, tried billions. esure were the most!! so went with Budgetinsurance who were excellent.
