bob57 seems to be bigotted against old people as he has no confidence that he will still be able to drive when he gets a few years older!
sorry toureman if I offended you it's not that I'm a bigot or any thing like that it's just that in my job I see alot of idiotic things done on the roads that at a certain in ones life I think it might be safer for them to stay off the road.
Here is one example:
An old man I knew had multiple sclerosis drove out of our housing estate done a right hand turn mounted the kerb luckily no one was on the pavement at the time and then proceded to drive to where ever he was going I don't what happened next as I went the other way.
also when I get old and unfit to drive the last the I want to be is a hazard to other road users
