It started many years ago when they started selling petrol in litres instead of gallons. Please don't suggest they round up the price to whole pence as that would increase bills even more.
If petrol is 97.9p a litre and I put in 17 litres, that works out as �16.643 exactly but I can't pay the 0.3p can I, so what's the point of fractions? Why not just say 98p?
