now that the dvla has a database on tax and m.o.t's, if you have a car that is taxed and you do not renew the m.o.t before it runs out, will you receive a fine because it should not be on the road and you haven't declared it as s.o.r.n or does the s.o.r.n only apply to road tax?
A lot of police cars, and some local councils have numberplate recognition cameras, that can be used to prosicute for no m o t, give it time and the dvla will soon be issuing mot fines by post
hey bigboots i hope you're right and they do that. that would be a brilliant idea. now if only there was a way of displaying insurance cover too we could get a lot more idiots off of the road.
