motorcycle lock

my bike was backed in to by a 4x4,what a prat! new handel bar went on left hand side.as old one was bent and touching tank.but now there is still a diferance from tank on full lock than the other one ,bike lock wont work.bike is a triumph daytona 1000 1992.
