we brought a car last september and the police have stopped us 7 times stating that the car is on their list of wanted cars.each time the officers involved have assured us that they will erase it from their computer database but we got stopped AGAIN today.its very inconvienent how can we do it ourselves?does anyone know who we can contact to make sure it really is erased it wasnt a cheap car either.its very maddening.thanx in advance.
I would try writing to the chief constable of the force concerned giving him as much detail as posible ie reg make model and see what happens
i know how this feels as i used to have the same make model and colour car as our local frienldy drug dealer
he only lived a hundred yards away and 4 of the 7 digits on the reg plate were the same
the problems only stopped when he was busted and his car confiscated
good luck i hope you get it sorted
thanks big boots i will do that first thing monday morning the police have said that it used to belong to a criminal known to them they tell us that every time they stop us.sorry to hear you had a similar problem so at least someone else knows how maddening it is lol.thanx again bigboots.
I hope this works for you, my problems only ended when he lost his car, the only other alternative i could see was to sell my car but i didn't want to lose money or have a lot of hassle
i know the feeling bigboots the car cost us 3 grand its very annoying you dont expect this kind of thing in this computer age it should be easy enough for the police to erase the registration plate from their wanted list wouldnt you?ill take your earlier advice though.thanx.
