Strange question this, but i have a company car, that keeps on getting vandalised.

One time someone sat on the bonnett, and then there was a scuff on the bonnett again, and then now there seems to be a scratch.

As i said its company car, so i dont have to pay for any repairs, but its starting to look suspicious, and getting me a reputation within the company.

Does anyone have an ideas on how i can catch anyone, or and ideas that people have had over the years.

Thinkis on dont know if the culprit is doing it at work, outside my house, or outside my girlfriends house?

Im generally unknown in my area, and have no known enemys, and no known motives, the only place im disliked is at work, and thats where i suspect ist happening.

Cameras never pick anything up when i park, but thats the security camera guys opinion, is he actually looking at it? he says i cant watch it as its goes against data protection act?

Any ideas on how to narrow down culprit?

I would say that your first question should be "Where is this taking place ..."
If you can pin it down to home or work - then this is a big start - then your next problem will be WHO ?
You could try a webcam at home or sitting at an upstairs window for hours /days to catch them in the act
You could hook up a web cam at each location, your home and your girlfriends will be easy.

... the office is tricky...

if you can see the vehicle from or near your desk then put one of those small spy cams on the window sill (where, that's for u to figure) Ge one of the wireless spy cams so you can put the camera anywhere (within range) and record on your PC

hope it helps
when you get to work, park up and do an inspection of the car. after work do an inspection. if there's damage pop inside and tell your boss or fleet manager that it's been vanalised at work. your boss is allowed to check the tapes cos he's the boss.
make sure where you park is in view of the cameras.

as far as your security guard goes, he's talking b*ll*cks. you can view it if it's for company purposes.
don't bother telling him this because it'll only give him reason to hold a grudge. they have cr*p jobs , low self esteem and see any small amount of power they can attempt to wield as something to make their mundane lives brighter.
before all you irate security chaps start pilloring me i only mean the 'job worth' ones, not the nice sensible ones. who are not bitter and twisted.

wow guys, loving your responses, however im not into james bond spy equipment, and more to the point do not have the money to invest either.

i will probaby just resign myself to parking under the camera in future, so that my car is always in view, as for my home and home from home, well ill just have to wait and see. Im 80% sure its coming from work, as i alwasy notice it after a day at work.....hmmmmm

thanks guys (and possibly girls)
