a friend of mine has just had car accident in a motorbility car the car was writen off but he was over the drink drive limit ,is he covered for the damage ?
a chap hit my car and he was over the limit. the insurance company's on both sides were not inerested and I was told to get a solicitor to take him to court , but was advised that as he had no money I would never have got anything out of it, so I didn't bother. if you read the insurance policy it will state the exclusions, one of which is " driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs" so definetly not insured.
thanks for the answers ,i asked the question because the insurance company are going to payout for a new car and i was disgusted by this and i feel it makes a mockery of the mobility system.
