Bikers why are you queing in traffic??

Saw one today in a long traffic queue. Ok heads up bikers, Geezer ranting time.

You are a bike you do not wait in traffic, sad people in slow moving steel boxes wait in traffic. They have protection from the elements and safety, the price they pay for that is traffic queues. We are vulnerable and exposed, our reward is that we have been given superior road skill to filter past the SMSB's and avoid them doing stupid things. Capiesch?

So bikers you know who you are, you do not wait in traffic, otherwise you may as well get a car. That applies to even those among you who have seen fit not to get an R1 and also scooters, even the gay ones ok?

you are missing the point ethel , near me there are lots of young men who speed past in there cars. one lad who lives up the lane has a suzuki 750 he went past and my neighbour shook her head and said how fast was he going and what a high performance bike he had.
a few minutes later 2 cars, one chasing the other went past at a much higher speed. she shook her head again , i said nutters , she just looked. she never mentioned anything about them having high performance cars.

It is not a one off, because it is two different accidents.

I only included this week, there were many more that identified high performance cars when reporting crashes...

The day before the accident, the car's driver Joshua Ammirato posted a message on a forum saying "Let me say I am beginner when it comes to high performance cars..."

It is not illegal to filter on a Motorbike.

Doc Spock is breaking the law by blocking other road users.

Jake is in a bigger group of organ donors driving a car.

As always Ethel is correct there's just as many death wish drivers in cars as there are riders on motorbikes.

Amazing how many drivers pass me when I am on my Motorbike on a motorway but I always get where I'm going before them by filtering safely.

Depends on the road

If its a solid white line then its illegal anyway.

But if not fair do's but I would never do it with my R1 simply because one of my friends was killed doing it on a Ninja.

He was on the M6 filtering when his concentration wondered and he ploughed into the back of a lorry.

It seems that cyclists in London think red lights don't apply to them and just plough through pedestrians crossing the road. In my view they are the most inconsiderate and dangerous people on the road.
