�re the recent Zutons/AmyWinehouse versions of "Valerie" "covers of an old song from a few decades ago or was it first sung by the Zutons last year? It seems so famliar! If so, does anyone know who sings it? thanks!

There was a song by Steve Winwood in the 80's called Valerie, a cracker it was too, but I don't think the Zutons version is a cover of it.

The Steve Winwood song called Valerie, was sampled by Eric Prydz for his very annoying hit, Call On Me.
