Price If A Garage

How much would you say a garage is worth in Nottingham? It needs work doing on it but directly I between 2 of my neighbors houses. I want them to bid for it. How much would you think?

This is not a question of how much it is worth but how much it is worth to them. If both desperately want a garage the sky is the limit. If neither does, you'll get nothing. Have either of them told you they want one?

Both mentioned an interest in it yes. Both of them have plenty of money and also one of them was considering moving because he didn't have a garage. I was going to hold out for 20k. Is that unrealistic?

How much is that an acre? LOL. Building land only fetches a million an acre,say £100,000 a plot, but then there's the cost of building the houses. It's all a question of amenity, how much the garage adds to the value of the adjacent house. I reckon, on that basis, that £20k is about right, especially if it's that against restricted or inconvenient street parking.

I'd ask at your local estate agents just how much they think it might be worth as a stand alone item. Presumably it doesn't have an independent electricity supply, it's just the building?

20K sounds reasonable to me, I was looking at one 8 years ago for 20K but I didn't buy it.
