Stuck on the last three - all interconnected - 10 across (6) Plants hybrid in Iona? not normally AI?O?OO; 4 down (8) coincidences of fortification wasting away U?IT??N? and 19 across (5) Brass old-fashioned sounding ??R?I - I am pretty sure the letters I have are correct viz in 4downthe U is from THINGUMMYBOB (poor toothless jerk with a gizmo) the I is from WANTHILL (where you meet moles there's faint (wan)excitement (thrill) rightaway and the T is from HOOTANNANNY (hilarious performance by a nurse in US party)and the N is from CANON (standard of a minister) - I am pretty sure the others are also correct - can any of the stalwarts who usually come up trumps assist me please
