My mother's mother would sing this song as a lullabye in the 30-40's. I am trying to find out the title and the singer if their was one back then. What is the title to these words? The lyrics are unfamiliar to me for the best part but I presume they are simply a variant on the old song about going to the Calico Ball.Anyway the song is called "Hand me down my bonnet" and the best known version is probably by Joyce Grenfell.Try a google search for hand me down my bonnet in speech marks and then put Joyce Grenfell on the end.Best of luck
