I think it was on the roof of the EMI headquarters building in Manchester Road.

It was actually on the roof of the Apple offices - Saville Row i think.

It was the roof of Apple, although original plans were to do it at London Airport!


Not surprisingly, since it was lunch time, the traffic in the surrounding streets gridlocked pretty quickly, hence the arrival of The Met's finest to pull the plugs.
