I know it's a old song, but I heard it again the other day, and it's one of those things I've often wondered about! 'It's not right...' by Whitney Houston has the lines 'You said it was one of your friends down on 54th street, boy So why did 213 show up on your caller ID' Please can someone explain what 213 would mean on your caller id? Thank you!

213 is the area code for So Cal or the L.A. area in the US and the only real 54th Street of any renown that I can find is the one that I already knew about in New York, NY.
