Any ideas on how to take a 30 second sample off an existing track (with permission - obviously!) and get it to run in sync with 125BPM drum loop? Just can't get them to work together - whats the secret??

Cheers

Sorry, couldn't resist.
If one of the samples runs a little quicker than the other then you'll need to resample it to play at a slower rate.

Or is it just out of step? If so, you'll simply need to trim the sample to ensure it all starts at the right time.

Not sure how to get this done in FruityLoops but I'd be surprised if it can't do it. If it can't, have a look at Audacity. There's a change speed option in the Effects menu.

Cheers OBonio, have just downloaded Audacity and am messing about with the samples as we speak (er, type).

Thanks for your help, have also found some top FL Studio tuition files on youtube.
