Night to Remember

No, not the Shalamar song...About 20 years ago I had an LP of obscure 60s songs sung by girls or girl groups. My absolute favourite was a track called Night to Remember -which was sung by a solo female artist. I lost the LP a long time ago and now can't even remember who sung the song (or the name of the album). I have a vague idea it was written by famous people like Goffin/King or Holland/Dozier/Holland...If anyone could help me I'd be incredibly, incredibly grateful as the loss of one my all time favourite songs has been bugging me for years...

Are you sure you have the right title of the song? We have so many girl groups of that era The Shirelles, The Chiffons, The Chantels, The Toys, The Ronettes etc etc. Have a look on Wickipedia and try The Shangri-La's, it will give you the history of songs etc, at the bottom of the page should be a link of to girl groups of the 60s. Have a look it may jog your memory, plus info on songs and LPs recorded. Hope this helps. Great music choice from that era, I love it.
