Can anyone confirm whether it was Michael Ball on Michael Bolton on last night's show please?

Someone who actually saw it and knows for sure, I have googled and it says Bolton but lots of people seem to think it was a rather portly Ball (apparently he is in Hairspray at the moment). I didn't see it mysef, and can't tell them apart either way.

We're not sure which one is gay, and if Cathy knows. Whoever she is.

Michael is the gravelly-voiced slimmer built American crooner.
Surely the difference is obvious.Michael Bolton was on something last night...I remember flicking channels and seeing him. Are you sure it wasn't him on Paul O Grady?!

SB - I am invovled in that thread!

The TV listings say Michael Botlon was on the show, and some people say it was Ball and some say it was Bolton, so I wondered if anyone could tell me for definite.

Stupid computer kept saying server error when I was posting so I kept re-typing it...not knowing it was actually posting my replies!!!!
I think it was Michael Bolton. I didn't actally watch show but remember seeing him singing while flicking through.
Michael Ball is Fat with wavy blonde-ish hair, and Michael Bolton is slim with shaved receeding hair. Does that help?

Michael Bolton was definitely on Paul O'Grady's show yesterday and Michael Ball was definitely on the Strictly Come Dancing spin off programme shortly after.

Same as you, I flicked through and remember seeing what I thought was "Michael Bolton on the show later" or something like that, but there is a whole thread going on about Michael Ball being on POG last night and how fat he had gotten. I didn't see it so I don't know which one was on there and now it is bugging me! LOL

Michael Ball was on Paul O'Grady show - he is indeed in Hairspray and was told to put on weight which easily he can do - however he still wearing a "fat suit" for Hairspray. Has been a partner to Cathy Mcgowan for years now. He is much younger than her though
