Was it expected???

Not sure...I haven't been out with her since my teens :-)
When I was at school, when the duty master said grace we would mutter, "For what the pigs have just refused may the Lord make us truly thankful".

Little anecdote for you:

As a student, played cricket at St Catherines Cambridge and after the team was invited to Bishops Stortford for dinner at the local vicar´s. As we we about to eat, one of my "joker" mates said "sqad is a fervent believer and would like to say Grace" I was fcked, but remembered what we were dissecting at the time.

Sqad: Levator labia superiores alique nasi"(Hands together)
Vicar¨Amen.

It is a small muscle between the upper lip and the nose.
