Opened special centers to get the vaccine, just turn up if you want it, while we faff about yet again. Nightingales just laying empty that could be used for a start. Wouldn't be surprised if Hancock sends them out by Deliveroo.

(she also thinks,) (Predictions,) knowledge of ( likely events) We have had months to prepare ( again) and still no firm plans in place, while we see an average of 400 deaths per day. Not good enough.

Why is it that every time you express an opinion on this site you get shot down in flames. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion and it's no excuse for name calling and acting like infant school kids.

You don't get shot down in flames every time you express an opinion...you just don't do you.
Are you calling ABers school kids...infant school kids at that?

Bobbinwales accused me of scaremongering saying only 20k was done by the time I posted, not scaremongering! that was the figure given on TV that day for the previous 4 days, previous to that they had carried out half a million in less than three weeks, the point I was making is that they had dramatically dropped, to only 20k in four days Fact, not scaremongering.
You have totally misquoted me Teacake, a didnt say you said that.
But it would be good to see a link to where your figure of 20000 in 4 days came from as it sounds well low, and unbeleivable really unless there was a major hold up. But even so its running overall at a much higher figure making your 5000 a day look silly

Radio 4 said that the approval on the Oxford is all but there and the roll out to begin in the first week January, the Pfizer for homes and medical sites....there's also good news in that a variant of the Oxford has been found (a very slight tweak) that has upped its effectiveness even more - to above 94%....levels that flu jabs hardly reach.

Teacake, do you now accept thenthat Sunks statement today in this thread that vaccinations are currently (his/her words) at 5000 per day is nonsense.
As Sunk has said since
//The first 8 days there were 137,000 vaccinations.
By the 2nd week it was nearly 600,000.//
Things are speeding up and will continue as the process becomes more routine

Oxford vaccine roll-out is due to commence on 4th Jan according to this. Given that storage is much easier it can be stored in a wider range of sites for administration. Hopefully this will shorten the waiting times on the Omni vaccine calculator.
