Opened special centers to get the vaccine, just turn up if you want it, while we faff about yet again. Nightingales just laying empty that could be used for a start. Wouldn't be surprised if Hancock sends them out by Deliveroo.

question of staffing, I suppose. All very well covering the land with Nightingales, you still have to find people to work in them. So many NHS staff are having to isolate themselves. With a generally lower rate of infection, I suppose it's not such a problem in Germany.

^ Hancock said, " we are well prepared for the roll out of the vaccine"?
we are not faffing about we are getting it done, just not shouting about it. What a nasty anti British piece of work you are. Tell you what go and live in the EUSSR if you hate us so much.
Question Author
The death rate speaks for itself, and even a nasty political trouble maker like you can't get away from that.
Germany administered the first Vaccines yesterday,, the 'just turn up' scenario you mention won't begin until all the priority groups have been done.

Preparation is key to any operation, and the Germans have done that, not still talking about it.
TC, why don't you just admit that we are in front of the Germans in amount of people vaccinated? It gets a bit tiresome seeing your completely biased posts against the UK.
Yes, they have begun their vaccine programme -- as have we and other countries too.

Positive isn't it?
Currently we are vaccinating 5,000 a day.
That is less than 2 million people a year
We have ordered 300 million doses (for 150 million innoculations).
That would take 75 years (at 2 million a year) to use up.

So we greatly need to ramp up delivery.
yes Mamya, Positive indeed
oh god yet another AB moaner thread
we no good
uvva people much better
even if they arent better they just say they are

that first frau ( der eerste frau) she was going for coffee ( or caffe und cocken ) and saw ( her glasses on and functioning ) a sign queue here for covid vacc and so she did !

only on AB !
Sunk the Oxford vaccine is due to have its final test very soon, that will help
Question Author
danney, as I've said many many times before, if I am tiresome move to another thread. OK
Sunk, you have got to take into account that the people first in the queue are in care homes which is a logistical problem due the minus 70 degrees that the vaccine has to be stored at.
TC //I am tiresome//
Glad to see you admit it.
Danny , TC is happy only when people agree with her :0)
//More than 137,000 people in UK receive first dose of COVID vaccine in one week.//

Considering the first swathe is the most time consuming (travelling between care homes etc) that's higher than 5,000 per day by far.
Question Author
Yes they have begun their vaccine, but I'm on about them being (well prepared) Mamy, for the roll out with their centers to continue, nothing so far has been arranged here in the UK, and we had the vaccine three weeks ago before the Germans.
Question Author
14.35 A bit like you then, you dislike anyone who's not a sloppy dreamer.
apparently in the eu (friend in denmark) each country is getting the same number of doses regardless of the population and regardless of the number of vulnerable people or health workers....Germany eg is getting the same as Denmark. which is 10,000 doses
